Repair of refrigeration failure

Urgent fault finding and repair work on a refrigeration unit (air source heat pump) on Thursday afternoon.

The 24 Center's emergency call centre received a call at 12.02 on a hot Thursday afternoon in July from a customer in distress. The Mitsubishi air-source heat pump in the house had broken down and refused to cool the air any more. The customer was very worried, as the heat was affecting their little one under 1 year of age the most. The customer said they had already called many places, but everywhere they had been told the queues were at least 2 weeks. Help was needed quickly.

The friendly 24 Center customer service representative reassured the customer and promised an installer to arrive quickly despite the busy installer schedule. The job description read. Mitsubishi Model MSZ.FD50VA does not cool. Call customer before on-site".

Our refrigeration technician arrived in less than 2 hours and quickly repaired the air source heat pump. The customer was very relieved when the air-source heat pump started cooling the stifling air again. The installer's description of the work was: "The Mitsubishi ILP is not cooling properly. The indoor unit filters were dirty and setting that 1 sensor included cooling. Filters cleaned and taken sensor operation off. The sensor was removed and the sensor was removed. Operation checked."

24 Center's invoice to the customer was:

Work share (weekdays 07-15): 198,00e
Service car allowance: 69,00e
PACKAGE FOR LOADS UNDER 30KG: 97,03e
AIR: CLEANING: 35,00e
STEAM PATT,/FILTER. DISINFECTION: 31,47
NON SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT: 15,50e
Total: 446,00e

The customer's feedback on our service was as follows: "The installer was very helpful in explaining what he was doing to the equipment and what was wrong with it. At the same time, he was instructed on how to self-clean the equipment. Help was provided in the form of an alarm the same day and relief from the heat." The customer gave us a perfect score of five for both customer service and installation. On a scale of 1-5, the customer described their willingness to recommend the service to friends as 5.
