Repair of broken glass

Repair of broken window glass on a weekday.

The 24 Center's emergency call centre received a very typical call on Monday evening. The outer pane of a window of a private residence had been broken. The athletic boy in the house had been his own Patrik Laine, and had blasted a hockey stick through the window. Fortunately, the whole window wasn't broken, so there was no need to do the emergency work.

Our on-call centre recorded the information about the job like this: "A hockey puck broke the outer glass of the window. Wooden frame. Simple glass approx. 190cm x 47cm. The glass window was broken by a glass pane, 190 cm thick. Call customer before arrival."

Our glass installer arrived on time, removed the old glass and installed the new glass to the best of his ability. The new glass was better than the old because the installer sealed the glass. The installer described the job on the invoice simply as "Glass work, measuring and installation".

24 Center's invoice to the customer was:
Work share (weekdays 7-15): 247,50e
Service car allowance: 69,00e
2K3 SPECIAL GLASS 1055 x 293: 33,78
CONSUMABLES: 4,02
CIRCULATION CHARGE FOR SPECIAL GLASS 1055 x 293: 2,31
Total: 363,44e

The customer was very satisfied with our overall service and the feedback says it all: "The service was really good and professional. The installer also provided an additional service (window sealing), which was much needed." We received a perfect score of five points from the customer in every aspect of our work!
